1 Versamark watermark ink pad
8 Inches of hemp twine
1 Sheet of royal blue card stock (½ of an 8 by 11 sheet)
1 Sheet of light blue card stock (one piece 3 ½ by 3 ¼ and one piece 5 1/8 by 3 7/8)
1 Sheet of white card stock (4 ½ inches by 7/8 of an inch)
1 Small flower stamp
1 "thanks for your kindness" rubber stamp by Stampin' Up!
2 Light blue buttons (approximately ½ inch across)
1 Roll clear double sided adhesive tape
1 Roll glue dots
Optional:
1 Clear envelope
Step 1
Stamp the "thanks for your kindness" with the brilliant blue on the strip of white card stock.
Step 2
Wad the strip up for the "well worn" look.
Step 3
Fold the ½ piece of royal blue card stock, and fold the bottom corner up.
Step 4
Adhere the larger light blue square to the card with adhesive tape. Put a glue dot behind the upturned corner so it will stay.
Step 5
Using the Versamark watermark ink pad and the small flower stamp, make random images all over the front of card. Place word strip on top with adhesive tape.
Step 6
Cut two lengths of the hemp twine, and thread into the button holes. Tie into a knot and trim excess twine.
Step 7
Place buttons directly onto glue dots, pull free and put another glue dot, so two will hold the button secure.
Step 8
Adhear the first button to the upturned corner of the card. Repeat with other button and placing it on top corner of the word strip.
Step 9
Congratulations! Your card is done. For an extra touch of class, slip your card into a clear envelope.
