Tearing is an easy, fun way to add spark to a page, or a card. Straight cuts are nice, but sometimes you just cant beat a torn page to add whimsy, or sometimes an age worn touch to your scrapping.

Take a piece of card stock, and firmly grip the page. With your dominant hand, slowly rip the page from top to bottom. You will want to use the ripped edge that your other hand is holding, as that will be the part of the rip that has the most edge.

A fun thing to do with the rip, is to add color. You can rub the ripped edge lightly on a ink pad, you can brush chalks along the edge, or you can use colored pencils to add color to the rip.
