Cow Birthday Card - A funny and whimsical card that features a cow holding a balloon, with a fun quip inside that states "I know how much women your age enjoy a new floral moo-moo!" The rubber stamp image and phrase are from Stampin Up! The card is set on a Royal blue card stock. There is a bright green piece of card stock mounted on the card, then a piece of floral print paper, cut at a diagonal mounted on that. Lavender piece of cardstock is centered on top, with the stamped image of the cow which is watercolored centered on white to bring the attention to the cute image. Two yellow flower brads are places on the corners of the green paper where it meets the floral. What a fun card to send to your 20 something friend or relative for her birthday. (At least that is the age she told you she is)!
Purple Happy Birthday Greeting Card - A cool refreshing color scheme features a light lavender card base, with a plum colored card stock added to that. Running across the middle of the card is a length of purple and white floral ric-rac. Right under that are three silk flowers that are purple and green. They are fastened to the card with small silver brads. Pulling the green color out of the center of the flowers, is the green card stock that the cream is adhered to. On the cream the sentiment "Happy Birthday to you" is stamped with a rubber stamp (Stampin' Up) in a soft lavender ink. This is a beautiful and simple birthday card.
Polka Dots, Flowers, and Lines Happy Birthday Card - This is a card where masculine and feminine meet with a classy blue and brown color scheme. The card is on a tall, thin navy blue card stock setting, that has a window cleverly cut into the bottom third of this card, so the sentiment "Happy Birthday to You" is peeking through. This is stamped in brown ink on a white piece of paper that is adhered to the inside of the card. A cardboard colored piece of card stock is then adhered to the top two-thirds of this card, with light blue added next. Three pieces of paper are then added next, side by side. A cream blue and cocoa stripe, then a cocoa colored piece, then a cream and blue and brown polka dot piece that is torn is added. Embellish with two flowers to soften the geometrical lines of this card. Fastening these with one square brad, and one brass eyelet adds to the interest of the card. Add one more brass eyelet to the other top corner, and the birthday card is complete.
